Powerful Groups and Think Tanks

The Bilderberg Group

Bilderberg - "Since its inaugural Meeting in 1954, the annual Bilderberg Meeting has been a forum for informal discussions to foster dialogue between Europe and North America. Every year, approx. 130 political leaders and experts from industry, finance, labour, academia and the media are invited to take part in the Meeting. About two thirds of the participants come from Europe and the rest from North America; one third from politics and government and the rest from other fields. The Meeting is a forum for informal discussions about major issues.  The Meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor of any other participant may be revealed."

The group has met in secret since 1954, only recently being acknowledge by the media as being real, causing them to eventually create a public website that publishes the meeting location for their once a year gathering. In previous years, they did not have to disclose their meeting location or their agenda. The group brings a swathe of the Wests most powerful from royalty, business, intelligence, military, media and government officials to a secret meeting that does not allow for any outside media to be present inside and has strict rules on anything being discussed leaving the room after.

It has aroused much suspicion due to the lack of transparency and a whos who of the worlds most powerful from all sectors. The meeting has masses amounts of security and many guests arrive in blacked out window limos.
