The Government And The Media: One Happy Family




The Government can request the Media to not publish certain information that poses a "national security threat", through D Notices. MI6, Mi5 and GCHQ are exempt from the Freedom of information act, exemplifying the secrecy of our intelligence agencies, even the CIA can be Foia'd. The media and government officials regularly meet, including prime ministers and heads of the media, like Rupert Murdoch. Boris Johnson on the 21/09/2020 met with 8 different media groups.
