Jeremy Hammond On The Destruction Of Gaza & Intent?

I spoke with Jeremy Hammond about Israel's destruction of Gaza's infrastructure, land, homes, mosques, churches, UN facilities and neighbourhoods. We also discuss if this was intentional, due to Israeli rhetoric about making gaza impossible to live in, not being able to return, encouragement of migration and discussion of the Egyptian Sinai desert. He also makes his case for why he considers this specific Israeli campaign as genocide.

"It is more important now to look ahead. Well, the strategic purpose, to create a situation in which Hamas will not exist as a body with military capability, is correct, in fact necessary. Those who hope that the 22 settlements that were attacked will be repopulated and that parents will agree to raise children there, must prove by actions that there is no longer a threat. This goal cannot be achieved by bombardment from the air, and it is doubtful whether it is right to risk a prolonged ground operation. Therefore, the State of Israel has no choice but to make Gaza a place that is temporarily, or permanently, impossible to live in."

“Mark my words – [Netanyahu] keeps Hamas on its feet so that the entire State of Israel won’t become the ‘Gaza envelope.’ … if Hamas collapses, [Abbas] is liable to control Gaza. If he will control it, voices from the left will arise advocating negotiations and a diplomatic settlement and a Palestinian state, including in Judea and Samaria [the West Bank]”...“[I]f Hamas crumbles, [Abbas] may rule [Gaza]. If he rules it, voices on the left will encourage … a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria as well. … [T]his is the real reason Netanyahu doesn’t annihilate Hamas, everything else is bullshit” Galit Distal Atbaryan 5th May 2019

"Don't hate each other. The monsters hate you enough. Hate the enemy. Hate the monsters. Any vestige of internal bickering is a maddeningly stupid waste of energy. Invest this energy in one thing; Erasing all of Gaza from the face of the earth. That the Gazan monsters will fly to the southern fence and try to enter Egyptian territory. or they will die. And their death is evil. Gaza should be erased. And fire and smoke on the heads of the Nazis in Judea and Samaria. Haron is also a Jew who will shake the earth of the world. A vengeful and cruel IDF is needed here. Anything less is immoral. Just unethical." Galit Distel Atbaryan - גלית דיסטל אטבריאן November 1st 2023
