I spoke with Brad Pearce about his recent article, The UAE's Neo-Venetian Empire. We discuss the UAE's role within Africa economically, militarily through arms, training and proxies, breakaway regions and the general trend of UAE influence throughout the continent. We also discuss the general role of the UAE in the world, their relationship with the US/West, Israel and roles in previous wars like Yemen (and current like Sudan, Somalia etc).
